Table tags: group tables, filter orders, and export with confidence

Reconciling orders across rooms or areas is easier when your tables are labelled consistently. Table tags let you assign simple labels such as Back, Front, Patio, or AB room to each table, then use those labels when you filter and export orders.

What you can do

Tag your tables

  • Open Manager → Tables, edit a table (or use Add tables when creating several at once).
  • Use Tags to pick existing labels or type new ones.
  • Tags are saved per venue, so spelling stays consistent across your team.

Filter orders by tag or table

  • On Manager → Orders, use the Tables filter.
  • Under Tags, choose a label (for example Back) to see orders from every table with that tag.
  • Under Tables, pick individual tables if you only need some of them.
  • You can combine tags and tables in one filter.

Export and report

  • Export CSV includes a Tags column for each order’s table.
  • In Reports, run Revenue breakdown by table tag to see takings grouped by label.

Why it helps

  • Export or review all orders in a room or zone without hand-picking every table.
  • Reduce missed payments when a party is split across several tables.
  • Keep naming consistent instead of relying on free-text notes.

Get started

Log in to your manager area, open Tables, and add tags to a few tables. Then try filtering Orders by a tag and exporting the results.
